British scientists have presented their new development – a unique wireless keyboard . The novelty can easily pretend to be the thinnest keyboard in the world.
Specialists Cambridge company CSR showed a prototype of the thinnest keyboard, which can be used with both tablets and computers. As already mentioned, the uniqueness of the novelty lies in the thickness of its body, which is only half a millimeter. It includes a printed circuit board and a Bluetooth 4.0 chip and is covered with a thin touch layer. The response time of the new keyboard is 12 ms.
A thin keyboard takes up very little space and, if desired, it can even be folded or rolled into a tube.
As the creators note, it’s still too early to talk about the appearance of a new device on the market. Now it is only a prototype, which will be officially presented at the international exhibition IFA 2013, which will be held on September 5 to 6 in Berlin.
